What’s the best part of your job?

Interacting with clients, new and old and helping them with any situation that is brought up in front of them. I also enjoy the auctioneering part of my job having started as an 18 year old and rising to becoming the principal auctioneer of the business having learnt my craft having previously sold livestock at Melton Mowbray Market for over 20 years and been at the helm of the furniture auction room rostrum for over 30 years.

What do you enjoy doing at the weekend?

My family take a lot of my time, and I am still trying to be a keen sportsman, I played for Melton Mowbray Rugby club until 2024, and now help behind the scenes to develop the club for aspiring players. I also play weekly football and try to get a round of golf in when possible. When spare time becomes available, I try and get involved in vintage and classic cars, and my dream is to find a rare vintage car in a barn, so if you have one, give me a call.
