Having obtained a Btec National Diploma in Business & Finance from Brooksby College as well as an Honours Degree in Rural Estate Management from Seale Hayne Agricultural College he joined the company in 2000 and rose to a full partner in 2009.

He is a keen sportsman regularly turning out for Melton Rugby Club, playing weekly indoor football and tries to get one or two games of golf in each year.
