Joined the firm in 1976 when I took my RICS and became a partner in the late eighties, became senior partner in June 2021.

Favourite part of your job?
Liaising with variety of clients and strategic planning of their property portfolio and estate.

What do you enjoy doing at the weekend?
Walking my dog Lola on the beach in Norfolk.

I enjoy providing my clients with the benefit of my years of experience and knowledge of the property industry.

What do you enjoy doing at weekends?
I enjoy Speedway and can often be found track side in the UK, or sometimes Europe at Grand Prix Events.

Just over 13 months. 

Favourite part of your job?
Meeting and dealing with such a wide range of different businesses looking for commercial property. 

What do you enjoy doing at weekends?
Being an ex-chef. I still have a huge passion for food and wine. I am currently in the middle of house rennovatiing but my main hobbies including having two young boys and being their butler, housekeeper, wake up call and personal chef!

Favourite part of your job?

Dealing with people, seeing different properties and no two days are the same in my role. 

What do you enjoy doing at weekends?

I like to spend time gardening, rennovating my property and collecting antiques.

I joined Shoulers in June 2016 and have worked in three different departments over the last six years...

Favourite part of your job?
Dealing with a variety of people from tenants to printers and designers.

What do you enjoy doing at weekends?
I enjoy watching my son play football, taking long walks in the countryside around where I live and taking my children out on the quad bikes with my husband.

I've been a part of the family business since the age of 14, helping out in the auction room during school holidays.  started full time as an auctioneer and auction room assistant in 1994 before going back to university in 1996.  Joined full time in June 2000 and became a partner in 2009.

Favourite part of your job?

Divesity of the work and being able to establish long term working relationships with clients over many aspects of their farming enterprises.

What do you enjoy doing at the weekend?

Spending time with my wife, Lucy and our son, William, as well as trying to get to some Leicester Tigers rigby matches. Im a keen sportsman with gold taking priority over rugby as rugby games take longer to recover from! If there is any spare time after that, I wpould try t o tinker about with some old vintage cars.

Tinkering with Landrovers and other machines in the workshop, family time, farming, playing hockey, hedge laying.

Robert who heralds from a Suffolk farming family joined Shouler & Son in September 2019 and has nearly 20 years of experience in estate management, farm agency and general professional work practicing in the East Midlands. 

When not at work Robert likes following the local beagle pack, tending to his bees, renovating houses and land rovers, he is also a good cook and his jack russell terrier is never far behind him.

Alice started working in estate agency in 2013 and has a broad experience in residential sales, lettings and more recently, commercial property agency work.

After returning to work following the birth of her daughter in 2018, Alice moved into the commercial sector assisting Helen Vesper-Smith with general commercial matters.  Alice’s role involves listing new commercial properties onto the market, processing applications and liaising with clients, dealing with general enquiries and carrying out viewings.

Alice is a Melton girl born and bred, and lives at home with her husband, daughter and lively Labrador. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and regularly goes swimming and running.

Angela Wood joined Shoulers in October 2020 and grew up on the local family farm with which she remains involved. Angela holds a degree in Agriculture specialising in Farm Business Management from Reading University and is BASIS qualified.She has previously worked in East Anglia and Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire advising farms and estates on agri business matters including BPS, Stewardship and many other farming issues. With her experience of the BPS system she is actively involved in getting to grips with the replacement BPS system and new opportunities for environmental grants over the coming years.When not at work, she is involved with running the family farm, village events, and doing all the work required to keep a husband and 3 boys fed & watered and in clean clothes.

Meeting new and old clients from all different backgrounds and hearing about their views and predictions of where agriculture has been and is going.

What do you enjoy doing at weekends?
On weekends I enjoy watching rugby, working alongside our small herd of cattle, or taking our black lab, Inka, out for a walk.
