The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has published its latest quarterly UK commercial property market survey covering activity in the second quarter of this year (2022).

Shouler & Son’s commercial agency, headed-up by Harry Baines, MRICS & RICS Registered Valuer, is in general agreement with the main thrust of the survey when it comes to the national picture.

While broadly sharing some of the sentiments of peer commercial agents’ experience in the East Midlands, as outlined in the latest survey, Harry Baines makes the point that, given the more rural make-up of Shoulers’ operational areas in the region, a strong appetite remains for industrial ‘farm shed’ units.

This is something the firm’s commercial professionals highlighted in Shoulers’ mid-year review, published last month (July).
