Little Diva opens latest salon venue in Melton agents former offices

A national franchise business which hosts pamper parties for children and young families has chosen Melton Mowbray as the location for its latest salon venue where it is now open for business at 1 Wilton Road, Melton Mowbray - the former estate agency offices of local property firm Shouler & Son.
Little Diva has taken an initial three year lease on the premises in a deal negotiated by the commercial agency of Shouler & Son who acted on behalf of the landlord.
The Melton Mowbray salon becomes the third Little Diva venue in the country - with others in Leicester and Birmingham. The company was established nine years ago by Mickayla Dexter who remains the owner of the franchise business.
With plans to roll-out the Little Diva franchise across the UK and to diversify the offering to encompass areas of children’s wellbeing and wider wellness concerns, in addition to pamper parties and mother & daughter spa day packages, the Wilton Road premises will be the flagship venue for the brand.
Mickayla Dexter explains further, “We finalised plans to take the business model forward just before the pandemic lockdown of spring 2020.
“We chose Melton Mowbray as it is well located for access to our other locations and our target roll-out territories. Plus, as a family, we wanted to relocate to live in the town.
“We picked up our business development plans again post-lockdown and began the search for the commercial premises in Melton last autumn (2020).
“And while we have found the right premises for Little Diva at 1 Wilton Road, we remain house hunting for our family home.”
Shouler & Son’s estate agency business relocated from the Wilton Road premises in July last year (2021) to consolidate all its offices in Melton Mowbray to its County Chambers site on Kings Road - which is now the head office of its commercial, rural & residential property agency & professional services practice, together with the firm’s established auction house services.
