Estate agency insight invite to local college’s careers event

Shoulers’ Head of Residential, Richard Cleaver and his sales team are going ‘back to school’ next week to take part in a careers event at John Ferneley College in Melton Mowbray.

Organised by the college, Shoulers will be pitching estate agency as a professional career option to students and answering questions in a range of formal and informal settings at the event.

Richard Cleaver has worked estate agency for over 25 years and acknowledges that his profession is not always well-regarded by the general public.

He’s looking forward to the opportunity to make the case for estate agency as a positive career choice to the next generation of business professionals.

He said, “It’s a privilege to be invited to speak with John Ferneley College students.

“Since joining Shoulers last year, I’ve recruited a number of young people from the local area in expanding our residential sales & lettings team.

“They are bringing new ideas and fresh approaches to our estate agency business.

“The event will give them the chance to air their first impressions about their chosen profession, and me the chance to share my experience and veteran’s insight as to how estate agency keeps itself relevant in today’s business world.”
