Rotherhill Business Park on Thorpe Road is the location of the second set of business premises for Melton Mowbray-based company Stace Roofing, confirms Shouler & Son’s commercial agency who is acting under instruction on the remaining unit to let this autumn.

The family-run roofing business is now trading from Units B3 and B4 at the new business park following the recent fit-out of the premises it acquired as the owner-occupier earlier this year.

Stace Roofing’s other premises in Melton are on Nottingham Road.

Ongoing business growth of circa 30 per cent per annum across recent year and an expanding workforce, prompted the firm to start looking for new premises in spring last year.

In seeking additional business space, Andrew Stace, Managing Director, Stace Roofing, wanted that the company wanted to own - as oppose to lease - new premises and also required accommodation that would give scope for future growth.

He explains, “With plans to recruit next year to add to our current headcount of 14 - six of whom are office based - the new Rotherhill Business Park ticked all the boxes for us.

“As brand new units they offered a blank canvas. Fit out and move in costs were lower than with older premises.

“Plus, they look good too and offer a pleasant, modern working environment and there is plenty designated parking.”

In welcoming Stace Roofing as the latest business to Rotherhill Business Park, Edward Danby, Shouler & Son, said, “Being so close to Melton town centre and with onward access to Nottingham and Leicester, the park has proved popular with investors and also owner-occupiers.

“There is just one industrial unit, B2, available to let this autumn.”
