Shouler & Son is staking its claim to the local residential housing market in and around the Melton and Vale of Belvoir this year following a revamp of its sales offer to buyers and sellers.

This bold assertion is being made by Richard Cleaver who, in being appointed by Shoulers last spring as its new Head of Residential, has been tasked to reinforce the local firm’s reputation as one of the area’s leading selling agents.

Richard’s appointment followed the closure in 2021 of the Shouler & Son estate agency presence on Melton Mowbray’s Wilton Road - part of the planned re-engineering of the Shoulers business, including rural and commercial property services, that had been stalled by the Covid-19 pandemic and consequent phases of commercial lockdown.

As a housing market ‘veteran’ with 25 years’ experience in estate agency across the East & West Midlands and the London home counties, Richard believes the changes he has initiated are already improving the selling & buying process for clients and will also ‘weatherproof’ the firm’s residential property instructions and sales portfolio for the future.

In updating and re-presenting Shoulers’ residential sales offer in today’s housing market, Richard Cleaver sees strength in the position occupied by the multi-disciplinary firm whose property heritage in Melton Mowbray dates back to the mid-19th Century.
