Cross Compliance

If your business submits a BPS claim form, you are automatically committed to the rules of cross compliance, which began 1st January 2017.

Please be aware of the changes to the 2017 cross compliance guide, which include ‘ongoing CPH rationalisation’:

• You can now apply to register all the land you use within a 10-mile radius to your holding number. When you move your livestock in between pieces of land registered to your holding number within the radius, it will not need to be recorded or reported and will not trigger standstill rules.  

• Batch reporting exemptions for sheep and goats will be removed 1st January 2018

• Adjacent movement reporting exemptions for sheep and goats will also be removed on 1st January 2018. 

• Cattle Tracing System Link will be withdrawn by summer 2017.
